Date Night Box – A perfect date in a Box
I think I make it fairly clear that I am in a relationship, even though I am a very private person when it comes to my family and my relationship. I think only a few people know it’s been almost 5 years. So, to give you a little bit of background, I have been with Donovan through so many ‘phases’ in my life. From being a 19 year old student, to doing promotional work, to doing ‘casual’ work at clothing boutiques for extra money, to him entering me for Miss South Africa in 2014, going to my Presenter Search on 3 audition with me, up until where we are today. Such a great and supportive human if you ask me.
Thus, being in a relationship with some distance (we live an hour apart), and for almost 5 years – with a schedule like mine – I thought it’s time to put in more effort when it comes to spending quality time together.
Since starting with presenting on Pasella, my schedule became unpredictable and quite hectic. The times I do have off, I am so tired all I want to do is sleep or just relax. And for me, relationships should bring out the fun in you or even the child in you! But in order for that to happen, effort needs to be put in, from both parties. I have always been the one to make a ton of effort, who loves surprising people (especially him) and making them feel special, but in my case as of recently, I never have the time to go the extra mile and plan a proper ‘date night.’
I decided to get involved with www.dateboxsa.co.za for this very reason. They brought a solution to my door, literally! They organize a perfect date night in one box! It is absolutely incredible, takes up no time, it’s so detailed and put together so well, I was blown away when I got my first box (look at the photos)- All you need to do is pick a date and they plan something romantic, fun, relaxing or ‘yum’ for you and your partner to do!
The fun Donovan and I shared with our first box was amazing – It involved making our own pancakes! Yum! Both of us are looking forward to making new memories, one box at a time! Hehe.
Remember: ‘A Date Night is not a luxury, it is an essential part of any relationship, young or old.’
Let them plan your next date night, and ignite the spark between you and your loved one again.
